'videres': a subjunctive - you could see ; Ovid is talking here about an incident in the past, therefore a plusquamperfectum subjuntive would have been required here, to my oppinion. However, one can argue, that in the heat of his story, Ovid/H. is tellling, as if things are happening now and thus saying 'If you are there, you would see .. '; a plquperf subj would ofcourse be 'vidisses'; and that form doesnt fit in the metre here either.
