C. 2, 18, 20, L. & S.; "you are eager to move away/move below the shore of the sea resounding at Baiae. Inf. w. "urgere; "Bais" is abl./locative and the "i" of the stem contracted ("Ba(i)is"). Rich Romans built homes at Baiae on the Bay of Naples over the shoreline supported by masonry pilings.
